One evening of loneliness and longing in the year 2019 led me to spontaneously compose these verses. They express not a state of depression but rather a spiritual loanliness in the midst of people and activities. The Seer has found himself alienated from the world and that has led to a longing for at least one person who actually shares the same experience. Other than that it’s pretty self-explanatory, so without further ado, here we go:
Fire in my heart.
The world passes by,
Lone I’m stuck here,
gazing at the sky!
Through my blinders I peak,
strangers on the street
Quietly longing for those
emerald familiar eyes.
Or the Smile of those
Known faces and zest
Of their personalities.
Or sometimes I just crave
Faded old passtimes.
The sound of their laughter,
The dew of their cry,
The food we ate, sauteed and fried.
Or those pleasant evenings
that visit my dreams over,
I wish we’d be closer,
If it were not possible
I wish I would die,
staring at your faces
While the strangers pass by.
