One evening of loneliness and longing led me to spontaneously compose these verses. They’re pretty self explanatory, so without further ado, here we go:
Fire in my heart.
The world passes by,
Lone I’m stuck here,
gazing at the sky!
Through my blinders I peak,
strangers on the street
Quietly longing for those
emerald familiar eyes.
Or the Smile of those
Known faces and zest
Of their personalities.
Or sometimes I just crave
Faded old passtimes.
The sound of their laughter,
The dew of their cry,
The food we ate, sauteed and fried.
Or those pleasant evenings
that visit my dreams over and over,
I wish we’d still be that closer,
If it were not possible
I wish I would die,
staring at your faces
While the strangers pass by.
